Artwork Photography With Smyrna Art and Design

Corporate Photography Atlanta

Atlanta is filled with talented artists capable of producing jaw-dropping work that inspires the masses. However, people generally run into issues when taking photos of their work. This may be due to lighting, photo quality, dimensions, etc. Smyrna Art and Design came to us to get commercial images for their website.

Commercial Photography Preparation

To make the most of our time, we set up a light that ranged from daylight to candlelight (a different Kelvin temperature of white light). For each piece of artwork, we took about 7 to 10 photos with the various ranges. Daylight worked well for most photos; however, even more importantly, natural light (no external light) was the winner for a few of them.

When taking photos of artwork, it is imperative to represent the work accurately. When light hits the work, it bounces off at an angle that can create a reflection. It can also not evenly light the work, which may be undesirable. These factors make it harder to truly represent the work than without an external light. With some photo editing magic, the photo’s pop can be restored while keeping the colors and appearance genuine. Here are some of the pictures we took for Smyrna Art and Design.

We got some great photos of Sana’s artwork that bring out her talent and are used commercially. This talented artist even had a kid’s wall that looked very impressive. Her imagination is one of the best in the Atlanta area.

Conclusion

Smyrna Art and Design was happy with the results of their professional photos. They happily showcase their work on their website with excellent photos taken by a professional.
